MINNESOTA BOOK PUBLISHERS' ROUNDTABLE CALENDAR
Following is the schedule of events for the 2011-2012 lecture series. Click an event for online registration:
MBPR lunch meetings are held at the Target Performance Hall, located up the spiral staircase at Open Book, 1011 Washington Ave. S., Minneapolis. Topics and guest speakers will be announced in the weeks prior to each meeting.
Registration and lunch service will begin at 11:30 a.m., with programming to start at approximately 12:15 p.m.. The price for each luncheon is $15 for members, $20 for nonmembers. Please pay upon arrival via cash or check. Reservations are required. Please email your reservation (and special dietary restrictions, if applicable) to reservations@publishersroundtable.org. Walk-ins will be charged an additional $5 at the door.
ROUNDTABLE SOCIAL HAPPENINGS, EVERY THIRD THURSDAY!
Something New for the Our 2011-2012 Season: MBPR is now hosting an informal social hour on the third Thursday of every month, beginning this October at Fabulous Fern's on Saint Paul's historic Cathedral Hill (there's plenty of off-street parking!). Come join us for socializing and networking with your peers, colleagues, and friends in the publishing industry. No RSVP is necessary, and each gathering runs from 5 pm to 7 pm.
No matter what your role in the book business, feel free to join us at these casual events—we'd love to meet you. There'll be great happy hour specials, complimentary apps (not those apps, but the nibbling kind), great networking, and a drawing for free book swag and stuff. Martini lunches may be a thing of the past, but there's no reason not to raise a glass with us at the end of your workday!
