Event Description

Are you looking for an opportunity to learn more about careers in publishing? Spend a semester or your summer break as an intern for one of the many different publishers in the Twin Cities!

At the Minnesota Book Publishers' Roundtable 2020 Internship Fair, publishers will be on-site to answer your questions, take résumés, and discuss the opportunities available at their companies.

A variety of internships are available in editorial, design, marketing, production, and other areas, including paid positions and those for academic credit; semester, summer-break, and flexible-schedule work; and opportunities for nontraditional students and experience-based and non-degree-holding applicants. Drawings for door prizes will be held throughout the event.

Event Information
The event runs from 5:30–7:30 p.m. Handouts with details on all participating companies will be provided. Bring at least ten copies of your résumé and be prepared to give brief (five-minute) informational interviews.

We recommend that attendees review the list of participating publishers (updated in February and March) and coming prepared with four or five top choices and questions about their programs.
