The Minnesota Book Publishers' Roundtable began more than twenty-five years ago as a small group of publishing professionals meeting around a restaurant table and has blossomed into a diverse group representing a cross-section of publishing activity in Minnesota.
Our bimonthly meetings provide a casual lunch and networking time along with the opportunity to hear key speakers address issues timely and informative for publishing professionals. In addition, the Roundtable is excited to be partnering with MN Publishing Tweetup in hosting monthly happy hours for publishing professionals, colleagues, and book lovers during our 2012 - 2013 season.Membership in the Roundtable is open to Minnesota book publishers and those from related industries.
The purpose of the Minnesota Book Publishers' Roundtable is:
- To develop, encourage, and promote the book publishing industry in Minnesota and the region
- To provide book publishers and those in related professions and trades an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences
- To promote good fellowship and friendly cooperation among its members
Memberships run from September through August. Membership renewals and new memberships are accepted only during our annual membership drive, which occurs in late summer / early fall. We do not accept new or renewed memberships outside the membership drive. Instead, sign up for our e-Newsletter to receive notice of upcoming events, including the next membership drive.
Our luncheons are held at Open Book in Minneapolis, 1011 Washington Avenue South. Fees for luncheons reserved in advance are $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers. If space allows, a fee of $30 is charged at the door for attendance without a reservation.
We look forward to seeing you at this season's events!
