Job postings are free to paid members of Minnesota Book Publishers' Roundtable, and are available to nonmembers for a $25.00 fee. Postings will remain active for thirty days, and all postings are subject to approval of the Minnesota Book Publishers' Roundtable board and Webmaster. To submit a posting, please send a brief description of the job and a valid URL for your internal posting to information@publishersroundtable.org.
Internship listings are restricted to those publishers who offer paid or unpaid internships on a regular basis, either throughout the year or on a seasonal basis. Since some internships are unpaid, applicants are encouraged to clarify this with the respective publisher early in the application process.

Augsburg Fortress internships (ongoing)
The Augsburg Fortress Internship Program is an excellent way for students to learn more about our business and gain valuable skills that will accompany them into the workforce. Augsburg Fortress Publishers provides an educational experience built on practical, hands-on training and challenging learning assignments. In return, our interns provide us with new ideas and current subject knowledge, making it a learning experience for us as well. Past internships have included interns in the area of human resources, sales, marketing, production, design and development. Internships are offered throughout the year, and may consist of full or part time hours.

Coffee House Press internships (ongoing)
Coffee House Press is a nationally known and renowned nonprofit publishing house located in the Warehouse District of Minneapolis. We publish annually twelve to fourteen books: novels, short stories, poetry, and literary essays.
An internship at Coffee House Press will introduce you to all aspects of a small literary publisher, and will give you skills that can also easily transfer to larger publishing houses and other careers, both in the arts and elsewhere.

Graywolf Press internships (ongoing)
Graywolf Press offers ongoing unpaid internships designed to expose qualified applicants to editorial and marketing work and other aspects of the publishing industry. Graywolf is a small, nonprofit literary press dedicated to the creation and promotion of thoughtful and imaginative contemporary literature essential to a vital and diverse culture. The typical internship requires a commitment of fifteen to twenty-five hours per week for a period of four months. The internship must be scheduled during operating hours, 9:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and usually operates around the academic calendar.

Milkweed Editions internships (ongoing)
Are you interested in publishing? Milkweed Editions provides ongoing unpaid internship opportunities designed to meet the needs of the press, while giving interns the chance to learn about various aspects of work in a nonprofit publishing house. Internships are available in our offices in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. Milkweed Editions provides a wonderful opportunity for hands-on experience in the publishing field. Interns acquire valuable knowledge of the operation of a small, nonprofit literary press, and of the publishing process as a whole.

Redleaf Press internships (ongoing)
Redleaf Press, a nationally known publisher of books for early childhood professionals located in St. Paul, Minnesota, is accepting applications for non-paid internship programs during the fall and spring semesters and for the summer. The program is designed to expose the intern to all areas of book publishing, including design, production, marketing, sales, and customer service, with a major emphasis in marketing, sales and promotions. Qualified candidates will be a junior or senior enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in marketing, business, English, journalism, liberal arts, early childhood education, or a related field. Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills are a necessity. Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are desired. Ability to work under deadline pressure and to multi-task is vital. Familiarity with Macintosh platform a plus.
