Director of Marketing, Sparkhouse Family (Minneapolis)

Summary
The Director of Marketing position is responsible for driving brand awareness and rapid topline growth through brand management, channel development and optimization, direct and trade marketing, as well as publicity and social media.

Qualifications:
B.A. in Marketing or other closely related field

• 5–7 years managing the strategic marketing of a brand and related products
• Experience in book trade or consumer publishing or related media fields is critical; experience in religious or children’s publishing specifically is desirable
• Ability to manage simultaneous projects with demonstrated attention to detail
• Must be able to judge creative work, interfacing with development and evaluating product concepts to ensure alignment with overall goals.
• Must be able to thrive in a highly collaborative environment
• Strong presentation skills, experience training/educating teams on products and/or marketing campaigns a plus
• Strong history of making breakthrough creative decisions in brand campaigns.
• Proven channel development and management skills.
• Strong working knowledge of various social media platforms.
• Requires familiarity with religion and religious life.

Developmental Editor: Digital and Print, EMC Publishing (St. Paul)

The Developmental Editor: Digital and Print is responsible for ensuring the successful, profitable, and timely publication of integrated digital and printed educational programs for Paradigm Education Solutions and JIST Publishing by working closely with authors, reviewers, and education and publishing professionals as well as with staff members in the company’s Technology, Editorial, Production, and Marketing departments.

For each assigned program, the Developmental Editor is responsible for planning and designing both program content and delivery methods to maximize customer satisfaction and market value; for determining optimum product organization, clarity, and accuracy; for collaborating with the Technology and Software development team to create digital components; for working closely with the Production team on editing and design; for maintaining positive author-editor relationships; and for overall program advocacy.

This position will be located in our St. Paul, Minnesota office. Relocation assistance will not be provided.
